I expected at least a complimentary upgrade for my struggles! The overall experience was so below par, I almost thought about giving a decent review, but, alas, I just couldn't, too many issues to overlook!

Located next to the station. It is ideal if you plan to make excursions to other locations during your stay. Otherwise, it is a very basic hotel.
I was surprised at how strict they are about not giving out the room until 2 p.m. (I requested this when making the reservation knowing that our train would arrive in León around 12 noon and immediately received their message of refusal). They give the excuse that people leave the room at 12 and that's why they can't give them until 2, but every day we were there we saw people checking out well before that time and rooms that were cleaned before that as well... besides, the hotel was far from complete... . As we were not given a room until much later than our lkegada we had to use the hotel bathrooms.. without toilet paper and three empty cardboard rolls thrown away anyway.. it didn't give a very good image.

Perfect location. Five minutes from the wetlands and 10 minutes from the cathedral. Friendly staff and good value for money. Really good and comfortable location . Five minutes away from the city center and ten from the cathedral. Friendly stuff and reasonable room prices.
The breakfast buffet is very poor for the high price they ask, it is cheaper to go to a cafe and have breakfast in front of the cathedral. The hotel needs a thorough overhaul. Keys to the rooms? Still? Really? The breakfast included was a shame, poor amount of food and not really good quality. I recommend get up early and have a wonderful breakfast at a coffee bar in front of the cathedral, it's cheaper and you'll always be offered a delicious "tapa" at any place. Still giving keys for the rooms. Really? The hotel needs an urgent reform.

The shower was refreshing after a long day exploring. Make sure to ask for a quiet room if needed.

The location of the hotel is good, it is about 15 minutes walk from the center and 1 minute from the AVE station. The room was spacious, with a high and a low wardrobe. It had a TV. The room was tidy and clean (sheets, towels, etc) . The hotel staff was very attentive. The parking lot has very wide spaces.
All the beds in all the rooms had the soft mattress. I had trouble resting because of the type of mattress, for my taste too soft. At night, the room would get cold. This did not happen in the rest of the rooms in the group, so I gather that it was a one-off issue because of the location of the room. The items in the bathroom were a bit scarce. The slow, unreformed elevators. Only one elevator went straight down to the parking lot. The hotel must improve its facilities with respect to painting the corridors, lighting, smell, etc.

Location. We already knew Lion, we took him precisely where he is located. In the center but accessible if you go by car (we found it easy to park). We liked that it has a kind of room service, served by the restaurant La Competencia (a pretty good pizza from Leon) that saved us the dinner of the first night because we had arrived a little late. hotel in general we valued it positively, it's old and would need a refurbishment.
The heat. It's hot as hell. Considering that in Leon, in December, it is quite cold, the change in temperature is extreme. In the whole hotel the temperature is very high, but in the rooms you can't regulate it, nor turn off the radiator. We heard other guests commenting on this very thing. It's really quite striking how hot it is. The facilities need to be renovated, as the hotel's façade invites one to think that it is a large hotel belonging to the Hotusa chain, and yet the rooms are not looked after or renovated. In our case, the head of the bed was not fixed to the wall (only superimposed) and made noise against the wall that would undoubtedly disturb the neighbours. And the phone had broken wires and we had to contact reception by calling them from our own phone.

missingWrote a review on 10 Novbasic amenitiesvalue priceroom comfort
Good value for the price paid in a pinch, offering enough basic amenities to get by for a couple of nights.
The rooms lack comfort, as evidenced by cramped quarters with three small beds instead of the booked queen. The whole place seems like it's stuck in the past. The reception furniture looks dingy, and the overall decor needs a serious update. Rooms emit an unpleasant stale smoke smell, especially on the seventh floor, with air conditioning that feels outdated and barely functional.

The walls are very thin and one can hear people next door using the bathroom at all hours of the night and moving along the corridors!

It's not all bad, but it's not all good
The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the train station. Breakfast was hearty and nicely presented.
The lack of soundproofing is frustrating, as disturbances from other rooms can really disrupt your peace. The bedding quality is poor, leading to an uncomfortable night's sleep.

Everything was simply great. I stayed in this FANTASTIC hotel for 1 day, had excellent experience, loved its magnificent location really close to Right next to the train station, bus stations and train stations and Temple Riosol. The staff were competent people. The rooms were exceptionally clean and warm with a king size bed, felt like home.
